Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Cote, near Bampton.
Some time between 6am on Monday, May 24, and 6pm on Tuesday, May 25, burglars forced their way into the property and stolen jewellery, a handbag containing money and an iPod touch.
PC Siobhan O’Hare said: “The homeowners had been away on holiday, which is why we haven’t been able to confirm the break-in until now.
“I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area, who might have seen anything suspicious.”
Anyone with information should contact PC O’Hare via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
