A man was charged with murder last night following an incident in Banbury.
Antony Bebbington, 24, of Ruscote Arcade, Longelandes Way, is in custody and will appear before Banbury magistrates this morning.
The victim has been formally identified as 25-year-old Paul Howkins, of Hardwick, Banbury.
Mr Howkins died yesterday morning. He was admitted to the Horton Hospital in Banbury on Monday night suffering serious head injuries, after being found in a stairwell in Ruscote Arcade, Longelandes Way.
