One hundred BMW workers employed at its Swindon door panel plant, who are surplus to its requirements, are to be offered the chance to transfer to the Cowley Mini assembly plant in Oxford.
Spokesman Angela Stangroom said there would be no compulsory redundancies but that the move would not affect staff numbers at Oxford due to normal fluctuations in the workforce.
