On cloud nine with Oxford Airport

NEWS that Oxford Airport is to launch a series of flights to European cities is surprising, but welcome news.

The economic slump continues to bite and airlines seem to be struggling.

But there is clearly demand in the area for the routes – as was shown by the success of the Channel Island flights earlier in the month.

We wish the airport every success and look forward to the city reaping the benefits of new jobs and – hopefully – a boost in tourists!
