Police are appealing for witnesses after a house in Cranesbill Drive in Bure Park, Bicester, was burgled.
On Thursday between 12.30pm and 12.50pm burglars broke into the property through the rear kitchen window, having climbed over the fence in the front garden.
The burglars stole a diamond and platinum bracelet, which is thought to be worth about £2,000. It has a loose fastening on it, with a loop design on the front. They also stole a garnet signet ring, worth around £150 and a ruby and diamond half eternity ring with alternate rubies and diamonds, worth about£500.
PC Mark Personious said: “It is possible that the burglars could have had a vehicle and I am appealing for anyone who might have seen any suspicious activity or vehicle in the area at the time to come forward.
“I would also like to ask people to be aware if they are offered any jewellery for sale.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Det Con Underhill via 0845 8 505 505, or if you don’t want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
