Three Oxfordshire rivers have been placed on flood watch alert by the Environment Agency.

Residents living near the River Thame, the River Evenlode and the River Ray have been warned to expect flooding around low-lying land and roads.

The River Thame flood watch covers the area from Long Marston to Dorchester, and includes the Bear Brook and the Chalgrove Brook and their tributaries.

The River Evenlode flood watch stretches from Moreton-in-Marsh to Cassington.

People living between Shipton Lee to Islip should also be on their guard for flooding from the River Ray and its tributaries.

The River Thames and its tributaries from Buscot to Kings Lock, above Oxford, had been on flood watch but the alert was removed by the agency at 10am today.
