A shopping centre in Banbury is set to hold an open day for business owners interested in moving into the centre.

Castle Quay's open day is scheduled for April 25, taking place in the Lock29 event space between 2.00pm and 7.00pm.

The centre is currently looking for new brands to join its portfolio.

Having the opportunity to open a store in Castle Quay on a flexible agreement allows small and independent brands to operate alongside national businesses like Boots, Game, New Look, JD, Clarks, HMV and more.

The centre’s management team will be at the event to provide information on processes, security, rent rates, and mentorship within Castle Quay.

Centre director at Castle Quay, Oliver Wren, said: "Whether you have a business that is just starting out or you’re interested in having a physical store in a retail destination, this is the perfect opportunity to understand the benefits of operating a business from a shopping centre environment."

He encouraged attendees to come with questions and said he was looking forward to showing prospective entrants the available stores.

The event will also feature guided tours of available units and will serve as a networking opportunity for business owners.

Light refreshments will be provided during the event which attendees can drop into at their convenience.

The Castle Quay open day is free, however, registration is advisable.
