Top restaurant group Six by Nico has announced it will be opening on the roof terrace at Westgate Oxford next month.

Founded by Scots Italian chef Nico Simeone, Six by Nico has become a talking point on the food scene for their 'affordable' six-course tasting menu that changes every six weeks, drawing inspiration from a memory, place or idea.

The six-course menu is priced at £50 per person, with the option to choose a selected wine pairing for an additional £30.

"Our team look forward to opening our doors this May 2024, and to be bringing a truly unique and unforgettable culinary experience to the people of Oxfordshire."

Six by Nico Oxford will have 64 covers in the main dining area with a private dining space for 12 guests, plus a nearly 4,300 square feet terrace.

Some 50 new jobs will be created by the new opening.

The interior design of the Oxford restaurant by Studio Two has drawn inspiration "from the graceful six-legged dragonfly", said the group.
