Murder inquiry launched at hospital

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a patient at Littlemore Hospital was found dead.

The 34-year-old male patient's body was discovered at 7am on Saturday but police only released the details tonight.

Police said the death at the mental health centre was being treated as unexplained.

Officers from Thames Valley Police, the NHS and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating.

Police spokesman Adam Fisher said a 25-year-old man had been arrested and released on bail.

He would not say where exactly the body was found and said officers were still trying to establish the cause of death.
