YOUTH FOOTBALL: Soanes slams super four-timer

Thomas Soanes slammed a four-timer as Launton Boys returned from Brackley Town with a 6-3 victory in the Giles Sports Under 11 A Witney Youth League.

Thomas Bosher wrapped up Launton's tally with a double.

In the B League, Bicester Town Colts had to settle for a share of the spoils as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Chipping Norton Town Swifts.

George Morgan had given Bicester the lead, only for Chippy to equalise.

A Jamie Groom brace helped Bicester Town Colts Stars to a 5-0 home victory against Kingham All Blacks in the C League.

Alex McCulloch, Jack Steptoe and Connor Merriman were the other marksmen for Bicester.

Dominic Evans and Jamie Appleton were on target as Chesterton Juniors eased to a 2-0 Under 15 A League success against Broughton & North Newington.

A strike from Adam Mercer proved in vain for Marsh Gibbon as they went down 5-1 at home to Wychwood in the UNder 14 B League.

Joe Miller (2), Rob Mutch, Ross Barrett and Chris Fute scored for Wychwood.

An Alex Underwood strike proved scant consolation for Bardwell as they lost 17-1 to Ducklington in the UNder 12 B League.

Hat-tricks from Eddie O'Sullivan, Jack Robinson, Jake Cockroft, doubles from Yassin Elouahabi, Nick Burquest and Chris Jones, and strikes from Nick Morse and Luke Hopkins did the damage for Ducklington.

Charlton & District edged to a 3-2 win against Bicester Town Colts in their UNder 10 A League encounter.

Charlie Lyons led the way for Charlton with a double, before a strike from James Mendham completed the narrow victory.

James Gibbs and Charlie West were the marksmen for Bicester.

In the B League, George Thornton and Joe Swadling were on target for Highfield Juniors as they beat neighboursLaunton Boys 2-1.

Cameron Hawtin hit back for Launton.

Sam Cox, William Hawtin and Tyron Eyles were on target as Bicester Town Colts defeated Garden City 3-1 in extra time as they reached the second round of the Under 9 Knockout Cup.

A double from Shay Kelly helped Charlton & District to a 3-2 victory over Bloxham in the Under 8 Friendly North League.

Luke Crosby scored their other goal.

Lawrence Grime and Cameron Brown found the back of the net for Bloxham.
