A MAN who went missing from Wallingford has been found 'safe and well', police have said.

Earlier this afternoon Thames Valley Police said it was 'growing concerned' for the safety Marcus James. 

The 41-year-old had been missing since about 12am today, when he was seen on Wilding Road in Wallingford, but has now beeen found.

Officers had said Mr James did not have access to money or transport and was known to frequent Oxford city centre as well as Wallingford.

Little more than an hour after sharing an appeal for information on social media, the force said: "He has now been found safe and well, and we would like to thank members of the public and media for sharing our appeal."
