BARTON Park Ladies’ senior and U13’s side have been given a boost after securing new kit, thanks to the Oxford Bus Company.

The brand new club competing in the Thames Valley Women’s Football League Division Two has received its eye-catching kit in a handover by Oxford Bus Company Managing Director Phil Southall.

Oxford Bus Company supported the club’s two sides as part of its commitment to the local community. It has previously been the main sponsor of Oxford United Women’s side and sponsors Kirtlington United.

Oxford Bus Company managing director Phil Southall said: “The kit looks fantastic and it was great to meet the team - their enthusiasm for sport is infectious.

“Two of our core values are being socially responsible and working as a team, so backing a local club at grassroots level and helping youngsters work together creates a partnership with great synergy. We wish Barton United Ladies’ all the best for the rest of the season.”

Jason Partlett, manager of Barton United Ladies’ FC, said: “We’re so grateful to the Oxford Bus Company for backing the club. It’s made such a difference to the players and their support has helped us get a new kit.

“It’s brilliant to have the backing of such a high-profile local company.”
