THE candidates who will contest a county council by-election have been confirmed.
There will be four people standing in the Iffley Fields and St Mary's ward after Helen Evans, who won the division in 2017 for Labour, resigned in August.
Damian Haywood will stand for the Labour Party and Josie Procter will be the Liberal Democrats' representative.
Paul Sims will be the Conservatives' candidate and David Williams will stand for the Green Party. He lost the seat to Ms Evans last year.
The by-election will be held on October 18.
