A NEW fertility clinic offering treatment to private and NHS patients has opened in north Oxfordshire.
Create Fertility will be one of the first dedicated ‘Natural and Mild IVF’ providers in Oxfordshire.
The satellite clinic will be based in The Quadrangle, Woodstock, and will offer consultations, scans and blood tests locally, however, patients would still have to travel to the centre’s Birmingham or London clinics for procedures.
Some fertility experts say ‘mild IVF’, which uses significantly lower doses of drugs than traditional IVF, is cheaper, safer and equally as effective.
Create Fertility will also bring 3D and “Doppler” scanning to the region, which the clinic says can give patients ‘qualitative information’ about their fertility potential.
Commenting on the clinic’s opening, founder and medical director of Create Fertility, professor Dr Geeta Nargund, said: “We are excited to be bringing healthier, safer, gentler and more affordable forms of fertility treatment to women and couples in Oxford and the surrounding region.
“Our cutting-edge technology and treatments mean that local patients now have access to our expert Natural and Mild IVF and excellent success rates.
“We will also offer one-stop fertility diagnosis and advice to men and women to optimise their natural fertility.”
The new clinic had a soft opening last week ahead ahead of its official opening this week.
