TRAVELLERS have returned to a station car park six months after a council had to go to court to force them to move on.
The group of four caravans are thought to have arrived at Oxford Parkway on Sunday and were still on the site today.
When questioned, the group told the Oxford Mail they were 'just passing through' and were planning to leave tomorrow.
Another group of travellers occupied part of the Water Eaton Park-and-Ride site next to the station earlier this year.
RECAP: Travellers at Oxford Parkway stay for three weeks
On that occasion, up to 20 caravans were parked for up to three weeks until they were issued with a summons to move.
The latest group comes as travellers occupying part of a residential street in Bicester were thought to have moved on.
Oxford Parkway is operated by Chiltern Railways whereas the park-and-ride site is operated by Oxfordshire County Council.
The train company said it was aware of the situation was was working with the county council and British Transport Police.
