ONLY one takeaway in Oxford holds the worst possible hygiene score of zero, according to the recent listings from the Food Standard Agency.
We looked at all the takeaways, mobile caterers and sandwich shops in the Oxford City Council area - 140 in total - to see how they stack up when it comes to cleanliness.

The majority score fairly highly on the FSA's one to five star rating system, with only five outlets only managing a score of one.
Meanwhile, 22 manage a three star score, 19 have a rating of four and the remainder proudly display the coveted mark of five in their windows.
The information is correct as of September 15 from the FSA - if a takeaway has been reinspected it is marked as such, but if a reinspection does not show, it is because the agency has not yet updated its records.
What do the scores mean?
The definitions are as follows:
5 – hygiene standards are very good
4 – hygiene standards are good
3 – hygiene standards are generally satisfactory
2 – some improvement is necessary
1 – major improvement is necessary
0 – urgent improvement is required
