LIZ Hall-Bakker, a former district nurse, antique dealer and fundraiser, has died aged 67.

She had fought against cancer since late last year and, after being cared for at home in Tarrant Avenue, Witney, by her husband and two daughters, died in the Sobell House hospice, in Oxford, last Thursday.

She was born in Indonesia to Dutch parents and in recent years had returned to use her nursing skills for destitute patients in the capital city of Djakarta.
