POLICE are clamping down on drug dealing around an East Oxford park - and are urging the public to support them.
The force revealed today it is targeting dealers operating in South Park, Headington Hill and Morrell Avenue.
Sgt Guy Elkins, based at St Aldates Police station in Oxford, issued an appeal to anybody in the area with knowledge of drug dealing activity.
He said “ I would like to encourage people to call the police immediately on 999 if they see drug dealing taking place”.
Anybody who wants to provide information to police in a non-emergency situation should call 101.
