A TEAM of street cleaners armed themselves with their tools this week to tackle litter and graffiti.
Council officers were out in the early hours of Monday for the latest Cherwell District Council blitz.
This time officials, including district councillor for clean and green Debbie Pickford, targeted litter in Kings End.
Ms Pickford said the council hope by blitzing areas of the town it will get Bicester looking its best and encourage others to get involved.
The blitz is a week-long project to get the town looking spick and span, running from the Middleton Stoney Road in the south to Barry Avenue in the north. It will also cover Howes Lane on the west of Bicester and Queens Avenue close to the town centre.
Residents in this area can apply for free bulky waste collection via cherwell.gov.uk/blitz
