A COUNCILLOR from Oxford appeared on national radio during a discussion about offence.
Shaista Aziz, who represents Rose Hill and Iffley on Oxford City Council, appeared on BBC Radio 4's Sweet Reason, hosted by Evan Davies yesterday morning.
Ms Aziz - who was introduced as politician, journalist and stand-up comedian - spoke on the programme about arguments around free speech and their use as a defence for bigotry.
She shared the panel with controversial Canadian Professor Jordan Peterson.
