OXFORD Brookes has improved its student satisfaction score beating the national average.

The National Student Survey 2018 showed that 85 per cent of students had an overall satisfaction with the University - ahead of the national average of 83 per cent.

The institution improved on last year's score of 83 per cent but has still not reached the heights of its 2016 score of 87 per cent.

Vice-Chancellor, Alistair Fitt, said: "Higher education is becoming increasingly competitive in the UK and for the University to be outperforming the sector for satisfaction is a strong indication of the quality of the student experience here."

Last month Brookes was the only UK university in the QS Top 50 Under 50 ranking.
