A SENIOR Labour politician will visit Oxford to learn about innovative health technology.
Jonathan Ashworth, the shadow secretary of state for health, is due to look around Oxford Science Park this afternoon.
Oxford East MP Anneliese Dodds invited him to the city to discuss barriers getting in the way of new health technology in the NHS.
He is due to arrive at 2.30pm and will have a meeting with representatives of several businesses based at the park in Littlemore.
Mr Ashworth will also see demonstrations including that of OrganOx, which develops technology to aid liver transplantation.
