A SERIES of exhibitions will explore the story of Women's Suffrage at Cheney School from next month.
The Rumble Museum at the school will be hosting exhibitions, workshops and talks to mark 100 years since women got the vote.
One of the pupils helping with its organisation, Maddie Burnett is the great great niece of suffragist Dame Millicent Fawcett.
A statue of her was recently unveiled by Prime Minister Theresa May opposite Parliament commemorating her campaigning for women's right to vote.
The museum's director, Dr Lorna Robinson, said: "We hope the whole community, both at Cheney and beyond will be inspired by learning more about the stories of the brave women and men involved in the suffrage movement."
