A MAN charged after last week's city centre shooting will appear at Oxford Crown Court.
Duncan Shearman, of Paradise Square in Oxford, made his first appearance at Banbury Magistrates' Court on Thursday and was handed his next court date.
The 24-year-old will face a judge at Oxford Crown Court on Friday, June 8.
He is charged with one count of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and three counts of possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid or gas.
It relates to a shooting in a property in Paradise Square last Monday, when a man exchanged shots with police during a 14-hour armed siege. One person was injured.
