AN OXFORDSHIRE solar panel firm has secured £8million to take development from its city laboratory to the production line in Germany.
Oxford PV is working to develop its unique solar panels which harness the power of sunlight using ‘perovskite’ crystals.
The company, which recently moved to Oxford Industrial Park in Yarnton, said its technology will revolutionise the global silicon solar market.
The £8.02million pledge from investors Statoil and Legal and General Capital is hoped to bring the company a step closer to bringing its products to the market.
