THERE was no shortage of fantastic four-themed snaps this week but something about this image had it flying above the rest.
Kim Benson has captured a perfect frozen moment of flight for a dragonfly, with its double pair of wings a blur as they keep the creature in the air.
When it was shared on the Camera Club’s Facebook page earlier this week, Christine Cook called the snap ‘stunning’, and we completely agree.
Not only did we love the sense of movement in the wings but also the intricate detail of the insect’s body.
A well-deserved £25 will be winging its way to this week’s winning photographer very soon.

Next week’s theme is texture and we have already had an impressive array of submissions.
