NON-URGENT operations will be resumed at the John Radcliffe Hospital following eight days of cancellations.
Paul Brennan, director of clinical services at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said the hospital would resume non-urgent inpatient elective operations as of Wednesday.
He thanked patients for bearing with the Trust during an 'exceptionally busy period'.
Last week, the Trust postponed non-urgent procedures on Monday and Tuesday. After briefly returning to normal mid-week the Trust announced yet more cancellations.
