A SPELLING mistake in the Westgate Centre will be changed ‘as soon as possible’ after management were made aware of the Ashmolean gaffe.
One of the signs on the second floor of the £440m centre pointed the way to the ‘Ashmolian Museum’.
The Ashmolean collection has been in the city since the 17th century but that didn’t stop someone coming up with a novel spelling of the Beaumont Street building.
Westgate Oxford said it was aware and was arranging to get the sign changed.
