THE president of a leading American university will visit Oxford next week to talk about the potential impact of artificial intelligence in higher education.
Northeastern University's President Joseph Aoun will talk at the Oxford Martin School's Old Indian Institute Building on Broad Street on Wednesday from 6.15pm.
Robot-Proof: higher education in the age of artificial intelligence is free to attend but booking is required.
Oxford University describes the talk online as: "Driverless cars are hitting the road, powered by artificial intelligence; robots can climb stairs, open doors, win Jeopardy, analyse stocks, work in factories, find parking spaces and advise oncologists."
A book signing will follow.
