A POP singer says she is being sued by Radiohead for copying one of their songs.

Lana Del Ray tweeted to say she is being taken to court by the Abingdon band for copying the worldwide hit 'Creep'.

The lawsuit is focused on the song 'Get Free', the closing track of Ms Del Rey's latest album, Lust For Life.

Musicians have said that the chord progressions in both songs' verses are similar.

The American singer said: "Although I know my song wasn’t inspired by Creep, Radiohead feel it was and want 100 per cent of the publishing - I offered up to 40 over the last few months but they will only accept 100.

"Their lawyers have been relentless, so we will deal with it in court."

Radiohead have not responded to the claims.
