A POST Office will be opened up in an Oxford supermarket, it has been announced.
Councillors and residents had fought for a Post Office to be opened in East Oxford.
And although a new opening date is yet to be agreed, one will open at the Co-Operative store at 297 Iffley Road.
Nearby Donnington Post Office branch closed in March 2017 after its postmaster resigned.
The Post Office said opening hours will be from 6am until midnight from Monday to Saturday and from 7am until midnight on Sundays.
The Post Office said the new counter will be built in line with its specifications.
