PARAMEDICS in Oxfordshire are preparing for another busy night as New Year's Eve celebrations get under way.

Paul Jefferies, assistant director of operations at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust urged the public to use 999 and accident and emergency departments only when completely necessary.

The ambulance service's pop-up SOS Treatment Centre, will be located at the corner of Cornmarket and Market Streets.

The treatment centre will run on Saturday and Sunday from 10.45pm until 5am.
