JOE Oastler is calling on Oxford City to put their Emirates FA Cup heartbreak behind them when they return to league action against Truro City tonight.
Mark Jones’s side were cruelly denied a place in the third round draw on Saturday as a 95th-minute winner earned Notts County a 3-2 win at Meadow Lane.
While the Magpies will visit Brentford next month, City’s focus returns to the Vanarama National League South.
Since their historic second-round win over Colchester United in the Cup, they are unbeaten in four league games and are looking to move further away from the bottom of the table.
Centre back Oastler said: “We’ve got to move on.
“Everyone’s heads were down after the game, but we’ve got to be proud of what we’ve achieved.
“We’ve had an upturn in league results and we now have to focus on Truro.”
In the Evo-Stik South League, Premier Division outfit Banbury travel to Merthyr Town.
Meanwhile, North Leigh visit Paulton Rovers and Kidlington make the trip to Salisbury in the West Division.
