IT'S mighty – it's majestic – it's marvellous and magical.
In the week we asked Oxford Mail Camera Club members to send in snaps on the theme 'letters and numbers', Sue Carruthers has provided a perfect example with this acrobatic heron gull doing a letter 'M'.
The theme idea was actually suggested by camera club member Lesley Adams, who said she came across the idea on a beginners' photography course a few years ago.
As Lesley explained: "Basically you are looking for a number or letter in everyday objects or places that are not obviously a letter or number."
The 'T' of a lamppost or the 'S' of a cat's tail are some easy wins, but we are looking forward to seeing if anyone can find a 17.
Sue's picture here is excellent because it's not just a very obvious letter M, it's also a cracking photo in its own right.
