SANTA took time out from his busy schedule to 'go green' on Saturday for the 37th Oxford Green Fair.

The celebration of all things green left the Oxford Town Hall bursting with people keen to support the eco-friendly concept.

There were three halls packed-out with stalls, crafts, campaigns, information on local issues and the Green Father Christmas himself.

This year's guest of honour was environmental author and journalist George Monbiot, who addressed the crowds to launch the event.

Oxford Friends of the Earth were also on stage to sing their green version of the 12 Days of Christmas, calling for 12 safe bike racks, 11 clean air streets etc.
