OXFORD'S second football team will today play in front of thousands of spectators across the country on live TV.

Oxford City, who are more used to playing in front of a few hundred at Marsh Lane, will take on Notts County at their Meadow Lane ground at 12.30pm.

For the semi-pro club, who have long played in the shadow of Oxford United, the fixture is a cause for major celebration: it is the furthest they have got in the FA Cup since 1969.

The game also offers a hope of eventual cup glory, and players have said they are letting themselves dream of victory.

The match is being shown by BT Sport 1 from 12.30pm.
