A CONTROVERSIAL plan for a 300-student boarding school in Oxford will be looked at again after councillors said they wanted the decision to be reconsidered.
A proposal to turn Cotuit Hall in Pullens Lane, Headington into a self-contained boarding school was rejected by the East Area planning committee last Wednesday.
Nearly 100 people who battled off a similar scheme in 2013 objected again said the proposal will increase traffic and noise. The building housed about 100 Oxford Brookes university students before it was sold in 2011.
Fifteen city councillors have asked the plan is reconsidered at a planning review committee on December 13.
