TEMPORARY traffic lights will be installed later than initially planned on a treasured Oxford bridge.
Oxfordshire County Council started work on the Grade I-listed Folly Bridge on September 4.
It had planned to start traffic management to restrict flow on it to one lane later this week. But that will now start on Wednesday, September 20.
Temporary signals will be turned on that morning and will remain in place for 24 hours a day. A footpath will be open for pedestrians at all times.
The Thames towpath to the east of the bridge will also be closed during the works.
The council has said all repairs will be finished on the bridge by October 20.
