THERE is beer, meat and the sun should shine – what more would you want on a bank holiday weekend?
The Chester, off Iffley Road, in East Oxford, is running its annual beer festival from tomorrow until Monday .
Hundreds of punters are expected to pass through the pub’s doors to sample a variety of different ales, as well as tuck into meat and vegetarian food delights cooked to perfection on the barbecue.
Entry is free and drinkers can sample their first tipple from 4pm tomorrow.
Joint owners Beccy Webb and Hamzah Taynaz have organised 15 breweries to supply 25 different beers and four ciders for the pub’s third beer festival.
There will also be a hog roast throughout the four days of ale drinking.
