Concerns about the safety of cyclists at the West Way redevelopment site in Botley will no longer be discussed at a planning meeting.

Councillors on the Vale of White Horse District Council planning committee had been expected to discuss the issues at the August meeting that is taking place on August 23.

These discussions have now been postponed and the planning application will now not be heard until September at the earliest.

Residents fear that cyclists riding along West Way may be at risk of being crushed by left-turning Heavy Goods Vehicles once work begins at the shopping centre.
