A TOWN council has suggested that allowing developers to build eight cottages in Charlbury could worsen traffic issues and destroy flora and fauna.
Charlbury Town Council has objected to the development proposed for Hixet Wood in the town, but applicant Nathan Craker has said the site is both sustainable and underutilised.
Planning officers at the district council have recommended approval. Councillors will decide on the development on Monday at 2pm in the council’s Witney offices.
