POLICE and bomb disposal experts blew up an anti-aircraft shell from the Second World War which was discovered in the River Thames.
The shell was found in the river in Abingdon before being disposed of by police and a team from the Royal Logistics Corps yesterday.
Thames Valley Police released a short video, showing the shell exploding in a field and smoke pouring up into the sky.
