VILLAGERS have been warned to be vigilant after a string of break-ins in Kennington.
Thames Valley Police issued a community alert online, after three burglaries that happened between the night of Sunday, April 4 and early Monday morning last week.
A burglar snuck into a house in Woodcroft through patio doors, swiping items including cash, jewellery and a tablet computer.
A garage and shed were broken into on the same street and an air rifle was stolen.
There was also an attempted break-in in Bagley Wood Road, though unsuccessful.
Police urged anyone who had 'seen anything suspicious' to call 101, and reminded residents to use burglar alarms and keep doors and windows locked.
