A ROBBER who brandished a pair of scissors as he stole £10 from a customer in an Oxford newsagent’s is due to be sentenced in court tomorrow.
Edward Knight, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to one count of robbery, one count of possessing a bladed article and one count of attempted robbery at The Oxford Shop, George Street.
Last month Oxford Crown Court heard the 37-year old stormed into the shop with the scissors on February 3. He stole £10 from one person before attempting to rob a second person.
He is due to be sentenced at the same court tomorrow.
