A QUAD bike rider was taken to hospital with serious head injuries following a crash near Bicester.
The bike was the only vehicle involved in the incident, which took place on the A4095 between Chesterton and Kirtlington on Monday at about 7.30pm.
The rider of the quad, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by ambulance and remains in a critical condition.
Road closures were in place whilst emergency services attended the scene.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw a red quad bike being driven in the area prior to the incident.
