Marsh Road in Temple Cowley, Oxford, has been reopened after an incident in which a man was hospitalised.
A police cordon was in place for more than two hours at the junction with Oxford Road following what police described as a 'fear for welfare incident'.
Police spokesman Jack Abell said: "Officers were called at about 2.25pm today.
"Officers attended the scene where a man had sustained minor injuries.
"He has been taken to hospital by the ambulance service."
