A SINGER who has just finished recording a collection of Roy Orbison classics and filming a TV show with Ronan Keating is the guest at this month’s popular jazz gig in Stanton St John.
Mim Grey, pictured, who has worked with a host of international stars including Tom Jones, Paul McCartney and Kylie Minogue, will perform at The Talkhouse on Wednesday.
Boasting a huge expressive voice, Mim is in great demand, working across a range of different musical genres and her new album Ways Of Love went to number 1 in the Hot Disk Country Charts.
She will join jazz pianist Tim Lapthorn, former Amy Winehouse drummer Nathan Allen and Tim Dawes on the double bass for the free gig, which starts at 8.30pm. Call 01865 351654 for details or to book a table.
