Stuart Morris, 36, of Stonhouse Crescent, Radley, Abingdon, admitted assaulting Andrew Hillsdon by beating him in Radley, Abingdon, on June 13 last year. Handed a community order with a 12-month alcohol treatment requirement, a 30-day programme requirement and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Ordered to pay £50 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Adam Bash, 38, of no fixed abode, admitted attending without reasonable excuse a property in Railway Lane, Oxford, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order, on November 22 last year. Also admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed after being released from prison by failing to attend post-sentence supervision sessions on November 3 and November 10 last year. Jailed for 28 days and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

John Phelan, 25, of Oliver Road, Cowley, admitted having a steak knife without good reason or lawful authority at The Whitehorse Public House, London Road, Headington, Oxford, on November 12. Also admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on November 28 last year. Jailed for 20 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Asim Ali, 31, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence by failing to attend unpaid work requirement on November 24 and December 1 last year. Fined £150.

Bradley Davis, 45, of Leacroft, Wootton, Abingdon, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order by failing to attend unpaid work sessions on August 16 and December 4 last year, and failing to keep in touch with the responsible officer by providing evidence as instructed. Fined £80.

Kera Gibson, 25, of Thames Street, Oxford, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order by not attending unpaid work sessions on November 19 and December 10 last year. Fined £100.

Mohammed Hamza, 40, of Merewood Avenue, Oxford, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to licence a house in multiple occupation (HMO) in Merewood Avenue, Oxford, on or about November 30, 2015. Also admitted failing to comply with regulations of the management of houses in multiple occupation by failing to ensure his name address and telephone number was displayed in a prominent position within the HMO, and that the fire-fighting equipment within the HMO was maintained in good working order, and that any fixtures, fittings and appliances were maintained in good repair and clean working order in each unit of living accommodation on or about December 2, 2015. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

Nicholas Joseph McGowan, 41, of O'Hanlon House, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on November 11 2016, by failing without reasonable excuse to attend a rehabilitation activity requirement on November 15 2016, November 25 2016 and December 1 2016. Fined £50.

Callum John Merrill, 19 of Grunsell Close, Oxford, Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on November 15 2016 by failing without reasonable excuse to attend for unpaid work on November 11 2016 and December 6 2016. Also failed without reasonable excuse to keep in touch with the responsible officer by failing to provide evidence as instructed in respect of the above failures. Fined £80.

Bakani Bango, 25, of Liddell Road, Oxford, was convicted in his absence of travelling on a railway, namely Cross Country railway service between Birmingham New Street and Oxford station on June 27 2016 without having previously paid a fare of £36.90 and with intent to avoid payment thereof. Fined £440. Ordered to pay compensation of £36.90, a victim surcharge of £44 and costs of £130.

Matthew Chand, 25, of Fernhill Road, Oxford, Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Leicester Magistrates' Court on June 3 2016 by by failing to comply with unpaid work requirement on October 30 2016, November 13 2016 and November 20 2016 and November 27 2016. Fined £150.

Emmanuel Kato, 48, of Poolside Close, Banbury, admitted keeping a Mercedes on a public road, namely Prospect Road, which was unlicensed on April 17 2014. Fined £169. Ordered to pay vehicle excess back duty of £140.42 and costs of £50.

Samuel James Childs, 27, of Charney Avenue, Abingdon, admitted using a handheld mobile phone/device while driving a motor vehicle in Colwell Drive, Abingdon, on June 2 2016. Fined £138. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Driving record endorsed with three points.
