THE creators of Wallace and Gromit will be among those running special workshops at an Oxford Museum this half term.
The Story Museum will open its new installation, ‘Ever After’ where children and families can write, draw, film and record their suggestions for stories for future collections at the museum.
From Saturday, February 11 to Friday, February 17 there will be two water themed workshops, ‘Raft Building’ and ‘Water Wheels’ brought to the youngsters by the team at Science Oxford.
David Gibb, marketing and communications officer at the museum on Pembroke Street, said: “Those with a creative streak won’t want to miss Shaun the Sheep model making workshops run by the brilliant Aardman Animations.
“As well as creating a Shaun the Sheep model to take home, youngsters will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the tricks of the trade from some of the studio’s top animators.
“The week continues with a brilliant event from Piers Torday, author of the award winning best seller The Last Wild.
“Piers will be talking about he began his career as an author as well as sharing the real life story behind The Last Wild trilogy."
Ticket prices vary dependent on event.
