OXFORD

Mohammed Nuril Amin, 32, of Windmill Road, Oxford, admitted stealing a Playstation 4 games console to the value of about £300 from Pod Games Zone in George Street, Oxford on August 15 2016. Also admitted stealing alcohol to the value of £56 belonging to Waitrose Ltd in Old High Street, Headington, on August 8 2016 and stealing £56-worth of alcohol from the same store on September 9 2016. Ordered to pay £392 and costs of £40.

Darren Michael Little, 42, of Sandpiper Walk, Didcot, admitted pursing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of Kerry Mayhew, which he knew or ought to have known amounted to harassment of her that in numerous phone calls were made in which some were answered and he was verbally abusive. Messages also sent between November 1 2016 and December 1 2016. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Restraining order made for the defendant not contact directly or indirectly Kerry Mayhew until March 15 2017. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85. 

Konstantine Sapovalov, 39, Lydalls Road, Didcot, admitted assaulting Marion Cleeve by beating her in Oxford on October 22 2016. Also guilty of committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence made by Oxford Magistrates Court on January 11 2016 for an offence of ABH. Sentenced to prison for 14 days. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Oliver Jonathan Allerton, 25, of Patrick Haugh Road, Arncott, Bicester, admitted driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising him to drive a motor vehicle of that class on March 4 2016. Also admitted using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance on March 4 2016. Fined £350. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months.

Anthony Preston, 30, of Taphouse Avenue, Witney, had in a public place, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, an offensive weapon, namely a crowbar on August 4 2016 in St Peters Close, Abingdon. Fined £660. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £100. 

BANBURY

Hayley Alderman, 35, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted stealing £865 from Dunelm Mill, Banbury, between August 18 and September 14 last year. Handed a 16-week sentence, suspended for 18 months. Ordered to pay £865 compensation and a £115 victim surcharge.

Darren James, 35, of Tithe Court, Banbury, admitted possessing opiates, a class A drug, at Horton General Hospital, Oxford Road, Banbury, on September 15 last year. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Mareus Crunteanu, 36, of no fixed abode, admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on December 12 last year. Fined £150 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

Kidnoush Amiri-Bigvand, 59, of Blenheim Road, Kidlington, admitted driving without due care and attention in Kidlington Road on July 13 last year. Also admitted driving without a valid test certificate. Fined £387 and ordered to pay a £33 victim surcharge and £150 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Thomas Bennett, 26, of Wensum Crescent, Bicester, admitted obstructing a constable in the execution of their duty in Sheep Street, Bicester, on September 11 last year. Also admitted possessing cocaine, a class A drug, in Sheep Street, Bicester, on the same day. Fined £370 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Nuno Cardosa, 24, of no fixed abode, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Bridge Street, Banbury, on November 24 last year. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

Marian-Bogdan Pruiu, 39, of Connaught Street, Northampton, Northamptonshire, admitted stealing fragrances worth £224 from Debenhams in Banbury on November 28 last year. Also admitted going equipped for theft on the same date. Handed a 12-week sentence, suspended for 18 months. Ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Wimbush, 43, of The Cross and Sibford Gower, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in an unclassified road between Hook Norton and Sibford Gower on October 2 last year. Had 93 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 30 milligrams. Fined £360 and ordered to pay a £36 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 12-month driving ban.

Stuart Nixon, 29, of The Ridings, Kidlington, admitted assaulting Darren Lock by beating him in Boots, Oxford, on October 12 last year. Also admitted stealing two bottles of vodka worth £68 from Sainsbury’s at Templars Shopping Park, Cowley, Oxford, on October 12. Also admitted stealing a number plate in Flatford Place, Kidlington, on the same date. Also admitted stealing a vehicle in Wentworth Road, Oxford, on December 6 last year. Also admitted stealing a number plate in Wilsdon Way, Kidlington, on December 7 last year. Also admitted stealing a number plate in Morton Close, Kidlington, on December 13 last year. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge order. Jailed for 16 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.
